In almost three decades of creating art and doing the traveling art shows, I have always leaned toward wild life and landscapes with my work. Then in 2020 everything stopped. In an effort to keep my art career going, I decided to focus on the local area were I lived. I started doing ink sketches of people's pets and from there a whole new side of my art was born! Creating custom pet portraits has now become one of my favorite things to do! The joy it brings to those who love their pets, who celebrate their life and choose to remember the little quirks and personalities of their pets that they love so much is something I strive to capture in every brush stroke and ink line.
