Come on a journey from concept to mural for the Tulsa Master Gardeners

Art is music, in tangible form.

Or at least that's what art is to me.

Music and color have always been the same and to be able to express what I see and feel listening to music, is a passion. And obsession. My art education has been mostly a  self- taught one.  I started in charcoal creating portraits and it is still the medium I always go back to to feel grounded and  to remember where I started. In my twenties I taught myself how to paint with acrylics, and then in my  thirties I taught myself how to paint with oils. This new decade finds me deep in the allure of watercolor, gardening and combining the two to create the quiet moments that nature shares with me.

With life becoming even busier and in some ways faster, it's important to find ways to pause, reflect and connect with your own self. Art is one way to do that - a way to slow down and get lost in the cadence and exploration of creating something.  My goal is to provide people with art that sparks inspiration and calls to slow down and embrace the beauty and things around us.
