Art is music, in tangible form.
Or at least that's what art is to me. Music and color have always been the same and to be able
to express what I see and feel listening to music, is a passion. And obsession. My art education
has been mostly a self- taught one. I started in charcoal creating portraits and it is still the
medium I always go back to to feel grounded and to remember where I started. In my
twenties I taught myself how to paint with acrylics, and then in my thirties I taught myself
how to paint with oils. Now days I stick with acrylic but I thoroughly enjoy both.
I recently left my other career as a lymphatic massage therapist to pursue art fulltime. And though massage therapy is a great career, sharing art to the world is where my heart and passion lie. With life becoming even busier and in some ways faster, it's important to find ways to pause, reflect and connect with your own self. Art is one way to do that - a way to slow down and get lost in the cadence and exploration of creating something. My goal is to provide people with art that sparks inspiration and joy in their homes and create classes and art videos so that anyone can learn to create and pursue their own creative passions in life.
